Family recipe. The name of the drink comes from a former town in Missouri called Wakenda, which was totally destroyed by the Missouri River in the 1993 flood. I don't know where else it's popular or if it's even used anywhere else. I live in Missouri and I haven't heard it being used too much in this area. Maybe this website will help to get it going. You don't really notice the effects the alcohol has on you while you are sitting down but, if you drink too much of it and try to stand up, you may fall on your ass. Good luck and enjoy!!
After you drink the tasty foam chug the remaining liquor. Gets its name because me and my friend were drinking a lot and he named a drink and then i made this and after it was blended it had 3 layers...my nickname is the penguin
This drink was created by myself and my roommate, so you might be hard pressed to get it at a bar as most don't carry the Blackberry brandy or cinnamon schnapps. However, this is a great hit at parties and pretty good for pregaming.
The inventors name is Raymond Miller. It's not really popular at all. What inspired me to make the drink was the mix drink "Incredible Hulk". Mixed with Henessy and Hypnotiq. I'm not a fan of Congnac. So I used a little bit of 3rd grade knowlage and knew that yellow and blue makes green. So I decided to mix my second favorit drink (Southern Comfort) with Hpnotiq. I figured the sweet and smoth taste would go very well with the "Exquisite Blend" of Hpnotiq. I'm from a city in the state of Texas. I'm very proud of where I come from. Seeing as how Texas is in the name of my drink. I hope anyone who uses my recipe enjoys the Exqusitie, Sweet and Smooth taste of The Texas Hulk.
Scott Cooley, New Orleans, LA. Became popular in a local watering hole for its refeshing answer to the sultry summer nights in New Orleans. Inspired by an unused bottle of Creme de Menthe and a beautiful señorita named Esther, who, upon tasting it for the first time, responded, "Madre Mia! Esta bebida, es fantástica y dulce". Which means "Oh my God,(sort of) this drink is fantastic and sweet". Increase ingredients and pour into cocktail glass over ice for a more substantial cocktail. Makes great after dinner (desert) drink.
Discovered this drink while on vacation in Florida and the only name they used was "43 crown" for lack of anything better.
You can Substitute 40 Creek (43-40) or Tangle Ridge for the Crown to make it easier on your wallet
Inventor- LaKetia Harris
Origin- Tallahassee, FL
Where it's popular- Fratenity and sorority parties.
Inspiration- Melonball with a vicious uppercut
This recipe is based off of the mix drink melonball. I only needed to add sourmix in order for it to sky-rocket through the masses. Some say that it taste better than a regular melonball. You decide.
